Billing FAQ

When am I billed?

You are billed on the same day each month from when you subscribed.

Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and you are prorated for the remainder of your billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my monthly query limit?

Your API key will return a 429 status code until the next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to immediately restore access.

Do unused queries roll over?

No. Query limits reset on the first day of each billing cycle.

How do x402 micropayments work?

Autonomous agents can call Compatify endpoints by paying per query on-chain using the x402 protocol. No API key or account is required. Each paid endpoint has its own price (editable in the admin panel, returned on the 402 and at GET /v1/pricing). Accepted tokens: USDC on Base.
